India – AthensOn arrival at Athens Airport, you are received and greeted by our representative who will arrange a private car transfer for you to your hotel. After you have settled into your hotel room, venture out into this historic city to explore. Athens is a city that is made up of multiple and unique districts, all of which offer major attractions and interesting places. A modern take on Athens would not be complete without a visit to the Gazi district. Extending between Pireos Street and Konstantinoupoleos it is trademarked by the towering power plant of Technopolis. Reserve this night to enjoy a meal or a drink at one of the many bars, clubs and restaurants that line the streets of this fascinating district.
Day 2
Athens – City Explorations and SightseeingAfter breakfast, proceed for Morning Guided Sightseeing tour of Athens to witness the magnificent archaeological monuments and sites. This half day tour takes you around the central city, experiencing many of its best and most scenic sights. Visit all the famous monuments: The Panathenaic Parliament, The Ex. Royal Palace, The Temple of Zeus, The Hadrian’s Arch, The Parliament, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, The Academy and the University, The National Library and The Constitution Square. End your tour by visiting The Acropolis, The Parthenon and The Acropolis Museum. History unfolds with every step in Athens, from the Parthenon atop the Acropolis, to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion on the tip of Attica. The list of monuments is long and impressive and offers a surreal window into Athens’ past and present. Indulge in some Dining and Souvenir shopping in central Athens. Certainly one of the best ways to experience Athens’ culture is by eating and dining as the locals do. And like the world’s leading food meccas, Athens and the Attica region offers a cornucopia of choices for every palate and budget.
Day 3
Athens – Mykonos - RelaxationToday, early morning depart for Mykonos. Take the private transfer to Piraeus Pier and aboard the ferry for Mykonos Port. Upon arrival, you will be provided a transfer for your hotel; check-in to your hotel, unpack and relax. Spend your day exploring these Cycladic Islands bare hills, the amazing sandy beaches, the white country chapels, and the Cycladic architecture. Mykonos sits amidst the Aegean Sea like a unique jewel handcrafted by time, the Greek sun and an anonymous local craftsman. All that can be said or written about Mykonos would be just too little.The sunlight of Mykonos from its first sunshine of dawn all the way to its last of the sunset is astonishing and supplements an atmosphere of images that seem to have sprung out of a painting.. Soak up the atmosphere along the lively waterfront and admire a fleet of fishing boat casting colourful reflection in the azure waters. Head towards one of the bustling nightlife area of the city, party till dawn or just submerge into the atmosphere.
Day 4
Mykonos – Beach / Optional ActivitiesExplore this island made by the gods for the people. Take in the golden beaches and crystal waters, the warm and relaxing atmosphere, the harmony of Myconian architecture with nature, the ever-present sun, and the unique rhythm of the night. Discover the adventurous side of Mykonos, you may take wind surfing or diving lessons, catching the Mediterranean air in a Sail or try your hand in paragliding. Alternatively, you can enjoy a full day cruise excursion to nearby island of Poros or Isles of Delos. The Delos Island Archaeological Sanctuary, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, is listed by UNESCO as one of mankind’s most important cultural and historical sites. Among the cobbled streets, next to the churches, behind the freshly painted shutters, through the delivery of island living, the heavenly beaches and the liveliness of the night, Mykonos still keeps its secrets: The happiest different moments for everyone, here, on the most famous island in the world, each one of us makes each moment UNIQUE. Day 5
Mykonos – Santorini - RelaxationAfter breakfast, check-out from your hotel and take the transfer to Mykonos Port to board the high speed ferry for Santorini. Upon arrival to Santorini Island, take the transfer for your hotel and relax. Enjoy the day exploring one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Explore its gorgeous sandy beaches, architecture in white and blue, traditional lifestyle, folk music, warm and hospitable people and hilly landscapes with isolated chapels. A thousand sunsets, a thousand memories, a thousand heartbeats, colours of blue red & gold streaking the sky … this is Santorini island … Poets have written about it, artists attempt to capture its beauty. Nothing can quite describe … the unsurpassed magic of Santorini. This tiny Greek island in the Aegean sea, rich in history & steeped in myth, is situated on the southern east tip of the Cyclades Cluster.
Day 6
Santorini – Volcano Cruise Tour / Caldera VisitAfter breakfast, spend the morning exploring this breath-taking Island. Gaze at the white-washed houses of Fira and Oia, narrow streets and open air cafes that cling to a steep cliff accessible only by cable car or a mule. Later in the day, proceed for Half Day Volcano Cruise to the small islands of Nea kameni and Palea Kameni located inside the caldera and the Hot Springs of Thirasia with the green and yellow waters. During this tour, you will have the unique chance to visit the active volcano of Santorini, walk on dried lava up to its peak, feel the heat underneath your feet and see the steam of sulphuric gases emerging from the earth bowels. Next, you will sail to the thermal springs where you can dive or step down into the blue waters in order to swim towards the springs (35-36 C). Last you will visit the traditional sister island of Santorini, Thirassia, where you can either swim, go up to the village or simply relax and have something to eat. Have a romantic dinner in the evening on board cruise.
Day 7
Santorini – Santorini Beaches and Island Exploration / Optional ActivitiesSpend the day at your leisure. Rent a bicycle in the morning and explore the colourful Santorini. Stop in one of the Santorini’s wine tasting shop and taste the 2500 old Greek tradition. Take a stroll on the red sanded beach and see the sun setting into the beautiful Aegean Sea.
Day 8
Santorini – Athens – IndiaEarly morning transfer to Santorini Airport for boarding your flight to India via Athens.
